Lerici is situated in a picturesque inlet of the Bay of Poets, beloved of Byron, Shelley,
Lawrence and Virginia Woolf-is famous both as a summer and winter resort.
The delightful countryside, the healthy climate and the clean sea offer the opportunity of a pleasant,
quiet and varied holiday: sun, swimming, sailing, panoramic walks, golf, tennis, swimming pools and much more besides.
The setting is incomparable: from the beaches and cliffs of S.Terenzo, Tellaro and Fiascherino,
all lying on the edge of the Bay of Poets, to the gardens and hillside woods
amidst which nestle the old hamlets of Solaro, Pugliola, la Serra and Montemarcello.
The building is modern with a comfortable lounge and bar area in the lobby.
The bedrooms are of modest size but have all comforts and are exceptionally clean. We stayed in room 445 which was at the front with great views. It had a small balcony. Lerici makes an ideal base for exploring the Cinque Terre area and I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel.
